다양성의 증가: 한 나라의 소수 민족에게 주어지는 권리는 신장될 것이다.

여성평등이 증진될 것이며, 장애인들도 정상인 사람들에 비해 차별을 받지 않고 함께 사회생활에
동참하는 환경이 개선될 것이다.

종교적 변화: 극단주의자 수가 증가하고 종교운동과 함께 지역적으로 변화가 있을 것이며 극단주의가

도시집중 현상: 대부분의 세상 사람들이 도시에서 살게 되고 도시 내의 빈민가가 확대될 것이다. 특히

이는 작년 9월 다보스 포럼의 'Forum of Young Global Leaders'에서 정리한 2007~2030년 사이에 일어날 메가 트랜드를 요약한 것입니다.
각 트랜드가 우리 사회와 삶에 던지는 시사점은 매우 많습니다.
'도시화 트랜드: 대부분의 세상 사람들이 도시에서 살게 되고 도시 내의 빈민가가 확대될 것이다. 특히 아시아와 아프리카에서 초대형 도시가 새로 부상할 것이다.' 이 한 가지만 보더라도 수 많은 생각이 듭니다.
국가나 개인 모두 다가오는 미래, 거역할 수 없는 미래를 잘 조망하고 변화에 능동적으로 대처해야 하겠습니다.
특히 한국 사회에서는 '다양성의 증가' 측면에서 큰 변화가 일어났으면 좋겠습니다.
우리의 문화, 우리의 가치를 지키려는 노력도 중요하지만 이제 다양한 민족이 한 곳에 모여 살면서
새롭게 만들어지는 문화도 수용할 줄 아는 성숙한 사회와 국가가 되었으면 좋겠습니다.
