What counts in making a happy marriage is not so much how compatible you are, but how you deal with incompatibility. 행복한 결혼 생활을 만드는 데 있어 중요한 점은 얼마나 두 사람이 잘 맞느냐 하는 문제보다는 두 사람이 잘 맞지 않는 점을 어떻게 극복하느냐 하는 문제다. Chan's Advice!   결혼 생활의 평화는 간단합니다.  상대가 변해서 내게 맞춰주었으면 하는 바람을 포기하면 됩니다.  그러나 너무 많은 사람들이 이 간단한 원리를 실천하지 못합니다.  만약 상대가 변하기를 바란다면 자신이 먼저 변하세요. 그게 빠릅니다. 그러나 변화는 어렵습니다. 차라리 차이를 인정하세요.  그리고 조화를 이루세요.  ‘happily incompatible’ 이란 표현이 참 명언입니다.        -영어등대 이찬승 드림-
