“So you want it back again,” said Peter and held out the thimble. “Oh dear, I don’t mean that,” she said, and she thought, if he calls a thimble a kiss, I’ll call a kiss a thimble. She said, “I meant a thimble like this.” And she kissed him.
“That’s funny,” said Peter. “Shall I give you a thimble?”
But when he kissed Wendy, Tinker Bell came and pulled Wendy’s hair. Peter told her to stop, and she said angrily, “You silly donkey!” |
