| The group of horsemen came down the road. All the important men of the neighborhood were there, military officers in uniform, members of congress, the editors of the important newpapers and others. It was really a brilliant spectacle. There was music and there were flags. on some of the flags there were pictures of the statesman and of the Great Stone Face, facing each other and smiling like two brothers. In these pictures, it must be confessed, the resemblance between the statesman and the Great Stone Face was very clear. | |
