"Look! See what I've brought you." And he held me in front of her. She gave a scream and ran off. But when she saw I was not a frog or a spider, she came back, cut up some bread and meat for me, and sat down to watch me eat. She was so kind as to give me a glass of wine. When I drank it off, I put down the glass and made a deep bow to them all. This made them laugh so loud that I was nearly deaf through the noise.
